Thanx a lot for providing the paper.
Do they still have openings. I mean how can I apply? I've heard Adobe is recruiting big time these days.

Here Comes the next paper
Then was Language section paper was given I had opted for C--

1. What is the difference between Char a[ ]=”string” and char *a=”String” ?

2. What is wrong with the code? The code was for conversion from Celsius to Fahrenheit

degF =5/9*(c+32)

(In this we have to type cast either 5 or 9 to float type)

3. What are Data breakpoints? Give two scenarios where we make the use of this.

4. What do you mean by Bit fields? Give example.

5. Write the function for changing a number from hexadecimal to integer HTOI

6. Write the code to find the depth of the BST?

7. Some instruction in reverse polish notation was given and then we have to solve those expression and find the answer.
(Its like an calculator problem,  in which we have to push whenever we get operand and pop the  2 element wehnevr we received operator, perform operation and push back the result.)

8.You have N computers and [Ca, Cb] means a is connected to b and this connectivity is symmetric and transitive. then write a program which checks that all computers are interconnected and talk two each other.

9. We need to write the wrapper function in which have to perform to allocate the memory to a two dimnsional array through malloc.

10.In binary search we have two comparisons one for greater than and other for less than the mid value. We have to optimize the given code so that we need to check only once.

I am waiting for the result, if I get call then have to go thrugh one more aptitude test and 5 screening rounds of the interview (chilling !!!)

Adobe - Placement paper written test (30/3/2008)

Hey Guys, I have given the adobe written test on 30/03/2008 for the Developer. We had given two papers of Engg and Language (C / Java)

Both the sections contains 10 questions and the time alloted is 45 mins for each section and each questions carry 1 marks each.
I am presenting you some questions acc to my memory (sory not able to recall all)

First was given Engginering section --
1. A BST was given and we have to search the 4th smallest node of the tree.
(there was 2 mthods for this, i prefer to do inorder traversal of the tree and then read the 4 node).

2. Some sequence line of Push() and Pop() was given , we have to check the order in which they are wrking and have to find is the given order was correct or have to give our own order. This is MCQ type question.

3. Represent (-5) in 2's complement form in 8-bit form.

4. Some expression was given, we have to draw tree acc to tht expression and then also have to write its Postfix expression.

5. Code was given in assembly instruction, just follow the code properly this was an easy question.

6. Compare two binary trees if they are same or not ?

7. Some Machine instruction was given and we have to convert the following code into assembly
A=300;

For (i=0 ; i<=10 ;  i++)

A=A+200;

I didn't able to recall more question of the engg section :(
presenting C questions in next post..
