The hopes of Satyam freshers, who were given offer letters by the erstwhile management of Mahindra Satyam, have revived again. After hearing the news that the new management has decided to revive the offer letters to some of them, about 50 members of the revived Satyam Freshers' Union gathered at Mahindra Satyam's Madhapur facility here. “Three of us met the Mahindra Satyam representative on Monday to request the company to consider reviving all the offer letters,” a Union leader told Business Line. The company reportedly sent letters to those who were selected through Jawahar Knowledge Centres (JKCs). It told them that it would consider candidates with 70 per cent marks in their academics. Of the, 6,000 Satyam freshers who failed to get the appointment letters following the financial crisis, 2,000 were recruited through various JKCs. The freshers had decided to disband the union, with all the doors closed on them following the take-over by the new management.
